  • Jack - is a colorful fish from the sea that is usually very large weighing about 150 pounds. It is also known as many other names like: yellowtail, greenback, burnfin, black and amber jack. In America we know it best as Tuna or swordfish.
  • Okra - A small finger-shaped vegetable with green ridges that usually is about 3 to 5 inches long. and sometimes fried and served as a side dish in Jamaica.

  • Going to hang out with the family on the beach is always a great activity in Jamaica.

  • All of the Jamaican cities that you can travel to offer something great to see or do for example: Negril and Montgo Bay have Jamaica's two main coastal resorts, Kingston is the capital of Jamaica and has a great amount of Jamaican Culture all around, and Port Antoino is famous for deep-sea fishing.
  • But the most famous and popular activities in Jamaica are: Scuba Diving, Water River Rafting, Golfing, Fishing, Horseback Riding, and of course shopping.

Spend the Day in Negril, Jamaica

Hang out in Negril, Jamaica and spend your day with your family, a partner, or even by yourself.



  • Wake up and spend your morning or afternoon at the 7-Mile Beach in Negril.
  • After your relaxing time at the beach go shopping at the downtown craft market where you can find many Jamaican crafts and cultural paintings.
  • When you get hungry you can go to Sharks Restaurant for Breakfast, Lunch, or dinner at anytime of the day. If you are a vegetarian you can find many things to eat at Ras Rody Vegetarian.
  • Or if you want to have a romantic dinner by the sea go to Rick's Cafe where you can enjoy your meal to the lovely sound of the ocean.
  • When you are with your loved one go down West End Drive and look at all the Nice flowers that resemble love.
  • At around 6 or 7pm go see Negril's World Famous Sunset, that you will never forget.
  • And when the Night rolls around go to The Jungle: Negril's Nightclub and have fun buying drinks, hanging out, moving to the music, and just enjoying your stay in Negril, Jamaica.
